It's happened people, I've finally popped my Twitter cherry! I listened to a great FitBlog presentation on branding this weekend and it really got me motivated to step up my blogging and to try to expand my reader base. When I started this blog about a year ago it was purely to share with my family and friends the experiments that were going down in my kitchen, I never expected I would enjoy blogging so much. I am constantly learning new stuff about social media and my hope is to use this platform in the future for when I complete my nutrition studies and start building my business. There are going to be some upcoming changes with the layout and design of the blog, if you have any suggestions or comments I would love to hear from you. But for now just a quick boozy recipe to celebrate Enjoyable Me's new Twitter adventure, I hope you will all follow me at http://twitter.com/EnjoyableMe.
Cherry Berry Cocktail
(makes 2 drinks)
-15 cherries, pitted
-15 raspberries
-6 mint leaves
-2 tsp sugar
-2 shots of vodka
-1/2 cup of soda water
-1/2 cup cherry juice (or any other juice you prefer)
Directions:
Place fruit, mint leaves, and sugar in a bowl or jar and muddle (this is a fancy way of saying smash) the fruit until it is a mushy pulp. Next add in your liquids, mix well and pour over ice. You can garnish with fresh fruit, mint, or a sugar rim. Enjoy!
