Golden Globes

Just a quick post on some magical stuff I picked up today at the farmers market.  I almost freaked out when I saw a vendor with a small handful of Lemon Cucumbers, I adore these golden globes of heaven!!  I bought them all, I feel guilty about not leaving any for others to enjoy but there was only 4 and I could eat that in one day.  If you haven't had one of these before you must give them a try, they have such a light crisp taste and are perfectly crunchy.

I like to munch on them like apples but you could chop them up and use them in salads or any other recipe you would use cucumbers.  I got a bunch of other goodies like these purple and white bell peppers and a whole roaster chicken, so many good eats I'm not sure what to make for dinner.
